After signing Will Smith’s daughter Willow Smith to his Roc Nation management company producing the platinum “Whip My Hair”, Jay-Z has formed an as yet titled a joint film partnership with the rapper turned actor & his wife Jada’s Overbrook Entertainment film company according to Billboard.com. Along with Sony Pictures, the forged venture will bring the classic Broadway play Annie – which Jay sampled on his very own hit “Hard Knock Life” – to the big screen starring Willow as the singing orphan. This new film company isn’t the first business venture for Jay, Will & Jada. The trio also partnered up as investors in the Carol’s Daughter cosmetic line.
