During Jay-Z’s performance of “Empire State Of Mind” at his 9/11 Benefit Concert in Madison Square Garden last year, many were surprised to see someone else singing Alicia Keys part and that she did it so effortlessly. The effortless performance was from Roc Nation’s 23 year old singer/songwriter Bridget Kelly aka BK (but of course) and unbeknown to those in attendance and watching the Fuse special, it was the New York native’s first time ever performing onstage as she explains and a whole lot more in her 2 part Honey Magazine cover story interview that can be seen below. - ICE
