Reggae has lost one of it’s greatest voices and one of it’s most beloved singers. BBC News has confirmed Gregory Isaacs affectionately known as the “Cool Ruler” to us fans succumbed to a year long battle with lung cancer this morning at the age of 59 in his London home after a tremendous recording career which spawned over 500 albums and his 1982 hit “Night Nurse”. My condolences go out to the Isaacs family & friends. Rest in peace Cool Ruler. – ICE
