Charlie Sheen’s debut performance of his sold out My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option tour in Detroit proved to be less than successful to the 5,000 or so fans at the Fox Theater. Things started left when Charlie’s comedic opening act was booed off the stage until Sheen emerged to a standing ovation settling the crowd. A pair of adult film stars then sung the national anthem and finally the man everyone came to see began his unscripted comedic rant. Between videos of his recent media blitz, a clip from an unseen movie with Johnny Depp and Snoop’s video for Sheen’s “Winning”, boos soon ensued and hecklers even shouted, “you suck”, “loser” and “We want Emilio [Estevez, his brother]” leaving the actor to desperately ask, “Want to hear stories about crack? Who’s done crack?”. As the boos increased, Charlie walked off the stage “for a musical break” never to return. Duh, losing. - ICE
