So Tyrese was on Wendy Williams recently to promote his new book How To Get Out Of Your Own Way and said that it’s expected for men to cheat and I happen to somewhat agree with him but substitute “excepted” with accepted. The reason being and as Tyrese partly expressed and as I’ve stated for nearly half my life is that when men cheat they are labeled a ladies man, a player, Playboy’s, Romeo’s etc., all positive connotations. However when women cheat they’re labeled whores, ho’s, hookers, scandalous, nasty etc. all negative associations. Why the double standard you ask? Well because society accepts men who cheat due to history, religion, culture, chauvinism & polygamy and when you have acceptance you have expectancy.
For example, historically the most famous “player” ever King Solomon, is portrayed in the Bible’s book of Kings as the son of David who succeeded his father to become King of Israel and ruled with great wisdom, wealth and power with seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines. Culturally the birthplace of mankind that is Africa is notorious for polygamy especially in countries like Kenya, Nigeria, Sudan & Senegal where Akon who is a polygamist iwith several wives is from. Religiously, Islam & the Mormon denomination fully accept polygamy even creating an HBO series called Big Love about Mormon polygamists who’ve broken free from their religion to live a “regular life” as polygamists. And as far as chauvinism, do I really have to explain that? Now I’m sure you’re asking what does polygamy have to do with cheating since those who practice should still be loyal to their spouses no matter how many. Well though it is agreed upon by all parties involved polygamy for the most part has the male of the relationship having multiple wives and the women being with one husband which to those who do not practice equals a non-monogamous relationship which falls in line with well cheating.
Now of all course all woman don’t accept or expect for that matter for their man or men in general to cheat but when this does occur hearing what comes out of their mouth speaks volumes and 9 out of 10 confirms my theory. - ICE Ph.D.

Interesting theory and agreeable in many aspects but I happen to be one of the MANY women who don’t accept or expect their men to fall in line with the rest of the rif raff and definitely not one to confirm your theory if & when (never) I’m at the recieving end of an unfaithful man.

I was thinking the same thing Shane. Honestly I’m suprised Wendy even disagreed with Tyrese when her ugly ass husband has been caught out there including sex tapes with hookers and all.
